Colonial dress up day for all current students

6 – 9 pm Community BBQ and bush dance
Friday, 28 September

10.00am Visitor registrations, guided tours through the school
Art displays – Historical and photographic displays
Commemorative memorabilia available for purchase
2 pm Whole school assembly and formal ceremony
Unveiling of 150th commemorative plaque and tree planting
Time capsule locking – cutting of the cake followed by afternoon tea
Village Green
6 pm Launch and official opening of Arch, Mural, Heritage Pavers & Heritage Walk Markers.
Community BBQ in Village Green following.
Music in the sound structure
Museum Lantern tours!

Street Parade, Urana Street, Jindera
9.30 am Floats, Bands etc gather at St. Mary McKillop College
10.30 am Parade leaves SMMC
11.15 am Parade concludes at the Jindera Recreation Reserve
Welcome to Country at Jindera Recreation Reserve
Activities and demonstrations at Jindera Recreation Reserve (till 5.30 pm)
Including music, exercise, dance, tent pegging, archery, medieval jousting
11.15 am Craft shop open
11.15 am Family history tents in grounds of Craft Shop
2.30 pm Beard growing judging commences at Rec Reserve
11.15 am Museum open, with afternoon tea served in tea room by CWA
2 – 4 pm Open Gardens at historic homes

11.30 am Ecumenical Service at Village Green
2 – 4 pm Period Fashion Parade (1860s to 1960s) @ The Hub
Entry $12 includes afternoon tea, including garments from The Museum’s collection
4.15 pm Museum Photographic exhibition and judging of competition at School of Arts
4.30 pm Winners announced at  followed by presentation and drinks.
7.30-9.30 Music @ The Museum! 
$10 adult/$5 children under 12
Refreshments available.
